Welcome to CheapFly.ca. By using this website (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What CheapFly is

CheapFly.ca is an independent information service. We publish travel guides, fare guidance (“deal thresholds”), deal alerts and free tools. We are not a travel agency, airline or booking service, and we do not sell travel. Any booking you make is a contract between you and the airline, travel agency or booking site, under their terms.

2. Accuracy of information

Fares, schedules, fees, entry rules and passenger-rights regulations change frequently. We work hard to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that any fare, deal, route or rule shown on the Site is current, available or complete. Deal thresholds are guidance based on typical fare patterns, not offers or live prices. Always confirm details with the airline, the booking site or the relevant government source before you travel.

3. Tools and calculators

Our tools (including the compensation calculator, booking-window advisor, carry-on checker, points calculator, distance calculator, budget planner and currency converter) provide estimates for general information only. They are not legal, financial or professional advice and should not be relied on as such.

4. Third-party links and services

The Site links to and opens searches on third-party websites such as airlines, fare search engines and booking sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, prices, availability, privacy practices or terms. Some links may be advertising or sponsored; they are labelled as such.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Site or its forms; submit false, unlawful, infringing or harmful content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; scrape the Site in a way that burdens it; or use the Site for spam or fraud.

6. User submissions

When you send us deal tips, contest entries, videos, photos, applications or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and you grant CheapFly.ca a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and adapt it in connection with the Site, with credit where appropriate. We may decline or remove any submission.

7. Contests

Contests are governed by the official rules published for each round on our contests page. No purchase is necessary.

8. Support contributions

Voluntary contributions support the operation of the Site. CheapFly.ca is not a registered charity and contributions are not tax-deductible. Recurring contributions may be cancelled at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The Site’s original text, design, graphics, code and data compilations are owned by CheapFly.ca and protected by copyright. You may share links and short quotations with attribution. You may not copy or republish substantial portions without written permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners; see our disclaimer and trademark notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheapFly.ca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the Site, including missed fares, price changes, cancelled mistake fares, denied claims or travel disruptions.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
